Afghan Headspin is a UK-based, multi-genre electronic music project that has been a staple in the bass music scene since 2006. Known for a "genre-defying" approach, mainstay DJ & producer Jason Bull was a key member of the drum & bass outfit Resonant Evil (Mackie), and Dubstep Producers Pixel Fist —he seamlessly blends Breaks, Hardcore, UK Garage (UKG), and DnB. Jason has released music on prominent dance labels such as Moving Shadow, Breakbeat Kaos, Benga Beats, SONY, Columbia, Polydor, Dirty Kitchen Rave, Elektroshok, Skint, Rocstar, Against The Grain, and Cheap Thrills. The project has worked with industry heavyweights like Fatboy Slim, Herve, Cut La Roc, and Flo Rida. The moment it all really started to gain momenum was their live set from Glastonbury set (2009) hosted by Annie Nightingale (RIP) / Pussy Parlour, broadcast on BBC Radio 1 to hundreds of thousands of listeners. Particularly well-received in the Spanish Breaks scene, the artist frequently releases on major Spanish labels and has a strong following in Andalucía.
