DJ Aroma is always on the hunt, partly being a searcher, partly a creator - maybe even an adventurer! She has been constantly reinventing herself as an artist and a musician while her sound directly reflects her own unique personality: wild and funky, yet intelligent and elegant. Talking to her, you'll discover that she's full of of stories she experienced during her residencies in world famous clubs like Ultraschall, Panorama Bar or Ritter Butzke. Just like her trips around the globe, playing gigs ranging from small little illegal clubs to huge well known festivals and venues, like the Portuguese Boom festival or the Egg in London. Or as a turntable ambassador for the Goethe Institute and other cultural institutions. As a producer and as a DJ behind the decks she crafts her own fresh interpretation of sound, entertaining and energetic at the same time, and always embracing a sunny groove. Turntable technology magically turns into an instrument as soon as she touches it and she plays whatever media is suitable - Vinyl, CDs, effects, controllers and computers. DJ Aroma is busy creating an experience that takes you to a higher level, acoustically showing off her personality spanning from fairy to punisher. And sometimes even both at the same time! She owns her own studio and also performs as a live PA, she might be a nerd at heart but put her on a stage and, not much unlike a cute Gremlin after midnight, she suddenly transforms into this incredible performance monster you just have to love, because in this very moment the only thing she is living for : giving you the best possible nutrition – her music.www.djaroma.de
