For over a decade, Bougaïeff has explored the intersections of music, mathematics, and technology, pioneering techniques like Pivot Mixing and Prime Rhythms to challenge traditional rhythm structures. His work integrates bespoke tuning systems, modular hardware, and experimental synthesis, reflected in collaborations with dadamachines and Five12. Beyond the dancefloor, his projects span visual arts, classical music, and technology—including co-founding Liine with Richie Hawtin to develop the Lemur app, famously used aboard the International Space Station.
