Romanian DJ and music producer Kataa has spent nearly two decades building a groove-driven sound rooted in a deep love for dance music history. His connection to rhythm started early—with improvised kitchen pots serving as his first drum kit—before he made the definitive shift from listener to creator in 2009. His own sound blends vintage electronic influences and foundational house grooves with modern club energy. In the studio, Kataa focuses on creating honest, rhythmic tracks that connect with the dancefloor. His productions have been picked up by respected international labels such as New York's King Street Sounds, Déepalma Records, Milk & Sugar, and Hotfingers. Notable milestones include his remix of Tear & Marble’s "What Is Love," which passed 3 million views on YouTube, his single "Dream" being featured on France’s Radio FG, and collaborations with key regional figures like Andre Rizo and John Trend. Alongside official remix work for artists like The Motans, Holograf, Dirty Nano, and Pascal Junior, his tracks have also gained steady airplay on major Romanian radio stations, including Dance FM, Kiss FM, and Europa FM.
