About Obscene Frequenzy
Canary Islands-based DJ and producer Tanausú Arvelo, better known as Obscene Frequenzy, has spent more than two decades behind the decks, developing a sound rooted in breakbeat, rave and early ’90s UK club culture. From Tenerife’s underground scene to the Andalusian breakbeat circuit, he has established his name within the breaks scene through releases on respected labels and several entries in the Beatport Breaks Top 10, while also heading Wasted Recordings, the label he founded in 2015. Currently active as both DJ and producer, Obscene Frequenzy continues to work on original productions and remixes with a club-focused approach, bringing the energy of classic rave and breakbeat into a modern club context.
