Navid Nilchian, better known by his stage name K2O, is an American DJ and multi-genre EDM producer based out of Los Angeles, United States. Navid grew up in Irvine, CA playing classical violin and studying various forms of music from heavy metal to ethnic music. He began producing music with his computer after his first rave (Monster Massive 2007). All his previous exposure to music played a vital role in how quickly he came up within the rave circuit as a DJ/Producer. He played at beloved old school venues such as The Hudson, Pharaoh's and Fox Theater. He previously obtained several degrees/certifications in Information Technology before getting serious about pursuing his music career. His technological expertise also played a big role in how fast he evolved as a producer. He began releasing music under various aliases over the years on several labels. Some of these productions hit top 100 on multiple online shops. His work has been widely supported by some of the greatest names in the local LA scene such as mentor and good friend RJ Van Xetten, Thee-O, and Huggie. He has been featured on DI.FM, Pandora, Beatport, and Spotify just to name a few.
