Mau Bacarreza (born in 1986) is a South American DJ and electronic music producer, active since 2006 and based in Germany since 2018. He is the founder of Outsiders Recordings, a label dedicated to pushing fresh underground sounds and supporting emerging talent worldwide. Mau’s style is versatile and dynamic, blending tech house, house, electro house, and minimal tech — always with a strong focus on groove and dancefloor energy. Formerly known as DJ Bmau, he made his mark by winning the Red Bull 3Style Bolivia in 2012. From 2013 to 2018, he also worked as a Product Specialist for Native Instruments in Bolivia, gaining valuable industry experience and technical expertise. Now based in Germany, Mau runs his own label studio, working as a producer, DJ, and audio engineer with a diploma from HOFA College (Germany). He is also active as a DJ coach and mentor, fostering a creative hub that connects and uplifts upcoming artists across the globe.
