Dirkie Coetzee began his journey in the EDM scene at the young age of 16. Over time, he honed his mixing skills and started performing at nightclubs, events, and radio stations across Southern Africa. This sparked his interest in the art of music production, and he took on the challenge of learning the craft without any formal training. He studied articles and tutorials online and, through years of trial and error, developed his skills as a producer, creating the sounds you hear in his music today. Driven by his passion for music production, Dirkie's work has been signed to some of the best record labels in the industry, including Black Hole Recordings, Magik Muzik, Perfecto Records, Armada Music, Enhanced Music, FSOE, Bonzai Music, Nukleuz Records, and more. Dirkie has collaborated with some of the world's leading trance vocalists, including Emma Lock, Marcia Juell, Ridgewalkers, and Jan Johnston to name a few. His music has received support from top international DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, Aly & Fila, Solarstone, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Cosmic Gate, Markus Schulz, Dash Berlin, Lange, Roger Shah and many others. Dirkie launched his own label and event brand "We Are Trance" where artis all over the world release music on a global platform. As a DJ, Dirkie has toured internationally, performing for audiences in Russia, Ibiza, Malta, the Netherlands, and more.
