Plumps DJs are internationally renowned UK DJ/Producer duo Andy Gardner and Lee Rous of London, whose passion for innovation and non-conformist attitude to electronic music has fuelled their fire for over a decade. Their unmistakable signature sound has earned them recent remix commissions from the likes of Deadmau5, Mark Ronson, Moby and Orbital. While their four deck live show has lead to countless international tours and shows at London’s lead music venues XOYO, Fabric and The Nest. Self admitted suckers for bass and ‘the groove’ Gardner&Rous fuse Electro-House, Rave, Acid, Breakbeat and Techno into their own unique style they call ‘Plump Music’. They have received years of unprecedented cross genre support from the Electro and bass music scenes, and their success continues to grow with their well supported Dirty Weekend mix on newly formed record label, Grand Hotel Records.Dirty Weekend has just been highlighted as Mixmag’s ”Album of the month” Jan 2013. T his appropriately named new mix from the Plumps contains dance floor focused music from recent inspirations: The Loops of Fury, Detboi, Reset!, Nom De Strip, Blatta&Inesha, Urchins and Will Bailey. Plus sterling exclusive remixes from longtime compadres NAPT, Stanton Warriors and Peo De Pitte.
