Formed by Farid Gharadjedaghi and Rolf Maier-Bode, the Trance/Techno-oriented duo started collaborating on the project Skyflyer in 1993, making their debut as RMB with the vinyl EP "RMB Trax". After moving from independent record labels like adam & eve records or le petit prince which Farid both helped to built up to Low Spirit Records/Polygram, RMB released their first Top 20 single called Redemption in August 1994. "Love Is an Ocean" and Experience (Follow Me) anticipated RMB's debut album, titled This World Is Yours . Spring became their first top-selling single soon after in 1996. Reality - Too Short Video Radio also hit the top ten in European charts. Break the Silence / Everything released through RCA first in the UK were the last singles of the 1997 Widescreen Album. The RMB name came about as a pun on the very German-sounding name Rolf Maier-Bode. Despite that, RMB has always been a duo since the project's formation in 1993. In 1997, Farid Gharadjedaghi & Rolf Maier Bode launched their own labels (Various Music Recordings) and Publishing & Booking companies. Mission Horizon with Deep Down Below - Video Edit , Horizon - Video Version was released 2001 and Mission Horizon 2.0 with Redemption 2.0 dropped 2002. The collaboration Album RMB & Friends >> A Tribute to RMB << with remixes from blank & jones, westbam, Tomcraft and many more was released in 2003 together with Spring - Talla 2XLC Radio Edit . 2009 the album Evolution was released as a studio album.
