Roderic was born in Monterrey, Mexico, in 1989, into a family of artists. From an early age, he immersed himself in the world of performance and music, exploring French theatre, classic clowning, African percussion, and piano before eventually discovering electronic music. His journey has been one of constant experimentation, towards a sound that stands out for its uniqueness and technical precision. In October 2016, he took his first major step with the release of “Perfect Mirror”, his debut album, on the Berlin label Katermukke. Following this milestone, he embarked on a creative journey to the Dominican Republic with his close friend Mattia, seeking out musicians to collaborate with for his next album. The result was “It All Depends”, released by Katermukke in 2018. Since then, Roderic has remained in a state of continuous artistic exploration, releasing singles, EPs, and remixes that push the boundaries of conventional electronic music. Difficult to categorize into a single genre, his sound is a kaleidoscopic fusion of emotions that coherently distils a wide universe of influences. As the co-founder of Dafne Records, he continues to shape his creative vision, with his third album, “In Mind”, set for release in 2025.
