ay-Mill is the electronic music project of Swedish producer and songwriter Emil. Hailing from the vast, quiet landscapes of northern Sweden, Emil was originally a big fan of classic radio pop before diving into club culture. A pivotal encounter with German dance legend Scooter changed everything, sparking a lifelong passion for electronic dance music. Driven to transform inspiration into craft, Emil spent countless hours shaping his sound in a bedroom studio before continuing his musical journey at Musikhögskolan in Piteå, where he expanded his skills in composition and production, while also DJing locally. His music is centered around a strong melodic identity, combining pop-influenced songwriting with dance-pop energy and a wide spectrum of electronic styles. In the studio, Emil focuses on groove, detailed ear-candy, and subtle human elements, crafting tracks that feel both polished and alive. Recognized by STIM on their prestigious +100! list as one of Sweden’s fastest-growing songwriters in 2026, Emil’s momentum is undeniable. With over 50 million Spotify streams, his music has connected with listeners worldwide and earned support from leading DJs including David Guetta, Timmy Trumpet, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Fedde Le Grand, R3HAB, Nicky Romero, Lost Frequencies, and Sam Feldt.
