Blackbusters is a DJ and record production duo from Ethiopia, Ghana. The group consists of Estefanos shimelash shiferaw (Steve) and Apple (Peter Ofori-Atta). BLACKBUSTERS first gained popularity in 2015, after founding and hosting a night party at one of China's most famous night clubs. In May 2017, Blackbusters inaugurated their own label, called Hero Records, which is yet to be assigned to a particular record label for distribution. The first international release was the song - "Blackbusters" on 2 June 2016. The second single, "Big" was released on 2 December 2016. The third single "getup" was released on April 5, 2017. Blackbusters also featured K-ONE on their fourth single "broken heart" the Music video is yet to be released. Blackbusters's Hero records label joined one of China's biggest record label on May 1, 2017. Between 2016-2017 "BB" released a number of successful electronic music, which charted on Pyro, Spotify, Itunes,Beatport and other websites. Their first promo videos also became viral, each gaining over ten thousands of views on Youku. During that time BlackBusters performed at many events including Night clubs and music festivals such as Harbin Beer Festival, BeatFloor Music Festival and Lantern Music Festival etc.In December 31, 2016 they performed at "Lexis court and Friends" on Radio 1. Blackbusters within a short duration have participated and organized several successful tours. "BB" have always stated on their social networks and website that they are looking forward to work and sign more talent to the Hero family record label.
