Dominant Space is a unit formed in 2017 consisting of prominent progressive house artist Yuji Ono, who boasts a plethora of releases from many globally renowned labels?and masa8 (pronounced "Masaya"),
a DJ/promoter active across all regions of Japan with a formidable list of artists he has brought to the island nation. DS's style is anchored in European trance with elements of tech and psy infused. Their productions are supported by a broad spectrum of DJs both in Japan and out?taking the traditional trance sound and reworking it with a killer modern edge. 2017 saw them sign to Pure Trance, culminating in the Dominant Space ogriginal track "DRS" It has allowed DS's signature groove to rock all manner of floors as well as the radio waves. In 2019 saw them sign to Paul Oakenfold's label "Perfecto Fluoro". Their original track "Eternal Spirit / Indigo" was released from there. In 2020, he released Acid Rave on Outburat Twilight, a smash hit that reached #8 on the Beatport Trance Chart. He was supported by many DJs. DS is a project the first of its kind in Japan, and is poised to take crowds across the world by storm
