Following in the footsteps of her father, a well-respected and highly regarded Stockholm selector, MOLØ is a bonafide über-talent. Her journey began in 2018 when she caught the ears of melodic house stand-out Jeremy Olander. The Vivrant label founder put her on opening duties at his sold out label showcase. Olander proceeded to invite her to spend time with him in the studio, which resulted in single ‘Vanadis’. She proceeded with releasing her solo debut EP ‘Luma’. The project made #3 on Beatport and saw DJ support from Undercatt, Fideles, Nick Warren, Kevin De Vries, Above & Beyond, Guy J, Whomadewho and more. Off the back of the project, she was nominated for Artist of the Year in the Dance-category at the Swedish Independent Music Awards. She released her first-ever career remix of Duccio’s ‘What If?’ on Moscoman’s Disco Halal. The world took notice, and shortly thereafter, she received a request from powerhouse label Anjunadeep to remix Eli & Fur alongside Maya Jane Coles, Fur Coat and Francesca Lombardo. Her reinterpretation of the album single ‘Wild Skies’ was premiered by Sian Eleri on BBC Radio 1 on her ‘Chillest Show’. In 2024, she released her debut album project on Vivrant, which included collaborations with Running Pine, Atish, and boerd. ‘Aqua Lull’ saw extensive Spotify editorial suppor on coveted playlists Open Air, New Music Friday, Night Rider, and introduced a more experimental and electronica-leaning addition to the Swede’s sonic palette.
