Michał Radziwanowski, known professionally as MRJ, is an emerging talent in the underground house music scene, hailing from Wrocław, Poland. Born in 1994, MRJ was introduced to the world of electronic music at an early age by his father, a DJ who imparted the skills of DJing to him starting at the age of 8. MRJ's journey into music production, sound design, mixing, and mastering is largely self-taught, finding his home in Bitwig Studio after initial forays with Logic DAW and Ableton Live. Influenced by the British underground house music movement of the 90s and early 2000s, and legendary artists such as Kraftwerk, The Prodigy, and Faithless, MRJ has made his mark with tracks like "Elevate," "Did Know," and a well-received remix of Golf Clap's "You Might Drown.”. MRJ has recently launched a new label that follows the spirit and heritage of his influences, aptly named Magnetic Revival. MRJ's distinctive sound blends classic elements from drum samplers and synths with contemporary production tools, characterized by bass-heavy deep subs, potent bass drums, and intricate synth polyrhythms, securing his place as a unique voice in the underground house music landscape.
