Sammy La Marca has been DJing since 2011, performing across his home state of Victoria and throughout Australia. Over the years he has played numerous festivals and main stages nationwide, including Rainbow Serpent, Earthcore, Wild Horses, Esoteric, Babylon, Zenith Gathering, Return to the Source, Paradigm, Orin Aya, Mushroom Valley, Aura, Elements and Esoteric’s Sun Temple, as well as international performances in Portugal in 2023. Throughout his career Sammy has also shared lineups and opened for some of the world’s biggest electronic artists, including Astrix, Mandragora, Ace Ventura, Neelix, Reinier Zonneveld and Enrico Sangiuliano. Known for his versatile sound, Sammy moves effortlessly between psytrance, techno, full-on psy and high-energy trance, bringing a powerful and dynamic style to every set. Over the last decade he has held multiple club residencies across Melbourne while consistently headlining club shows and large events throughout Victoria. Through his productions, mixtapes and live recordings, Sammy has built a dedicated global audience, amassing more than 38,000 SoundCloud followers — and continues to grow his loyal following one dancefloor at a time. Inspired by artists such as; Kris Sach, Petrou, Chris Ojeda, Aiho, Lucent, Luca Terzini, Dani Sbert and many more, he started to produce bouncy minimal tracks with smooth basslines and intricate percussive sequences. As Sammy's skills improved he broadened his views on music widely, and started to produce Dark Minimal, Deep House, Tech House and Techno. His tracks have been remixed by big names such as Kris Sach, Chris Ojeda and Petrou to name a few and he has numerous succesful releases on Beatport, iTunes, Junodownload and many more major music stores. Sammy La Marca wants to broaden people in Melbourne's sense and taste of music, and make the people aware of the amazing, different types of talent in the EDM scene.
