Acerca de Syncopix

My name is Roland Bogdahn aka Syncopix. I started DJing Breakbeats and Funk ́n Soul at the age of 17 when the first Jungle Club in Hamburg (de.underground at the Powerhouse) openend it ́s doors in 1996. Together with friends (now Einmusik, DJ Crank, DMNK) we started making parties everywhere we could reach the people and helped to spread the sound of our early home made productions. In 2001 Syncopix Records was born and the first demos were sent to Hospital Records. Getting in touch with the Hospital family took everything to another level of Djing and producing. A Remix for "Commix - Five Reasons" and several colabs. with the likes of Nu:Tone, Tomahawk and Logistics would see the daylight as well as Syncopix productions on other big labels like Liquid V, Good Looking, Fokuz and Integral were followed. Now having made a bunch of singles and albums (Form Recording - Formaganda, Mojo Records - A Rogue Soul, Syncopix - Icarus, Syncopix - Private Collection), I have found my position within the drum n bass comunity (winning 2 times best german dnb producer by website futuremusic.net awards). I am now running a 2nd label with fellow partner DJ rome (jay rome) called Sync:Saphire, signing bass music and dnb productions of Queensway, Alexus, Paul B, Heavy1, Enei, Henry, and many more. It ́s really about going out there DJing and getting in touch with new people and countries.
