Shipwrec is the Dutch vinyl label founded in 2010 by Ferdi Maks, built around one stubborn idea: limited runs of high-quality electronic music, each with its own handmade artwork. Resident Advisor made it label of the month in 2016, and the catalogue explains why — Dez Williams, Umwelt, The Exaltics, Ekman, DMX Krew, EDMX, Chris Moss Acid, Datassette and Drvg Cvltvre across a spread that reaches from hard Detroit-lineage electro to the melodic, IDM-leaning end of the Dutch scene. Records go out through Triple Vision and tend to disappear.
