Michelle Owen has made significant contributions as a DJ, music producer, radio host, and music programmer. Over the course of her 20-year career, she has evolved her sound to combine various genres, creating a unique and soulful mix of house, disco, nu-disco, funk ’n’ soul, and downtempo music. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Michelle made a pivotal move to overseas in 2007 to further her career in DJing and music production. During her time OS she lived in Ibiza, working at Ibiza Rocks, Pioneer DJ Radio, and Ibiza Sonica Radio. She then spent 6 years in Berlin, establishing herself as a DJ and Music Producer releasing records for well-respected labels such as Moodmusic, Exploited, Rejected and Dirt Crew Recordings and her talents took her to renowned clubs like Panorama Bar, Watergate, Tresor, where she has showcased her exceptional DJ skills. Throughout her career, Michelle has received acclaim and recognition from esteemed artists such as Felix Da Housecat, Chez Damier, Ashley Beedle, Ian Pooley, Sasse, and DJ T. She was even listed as "One To Watch" by Mixmag Magazine in 2012, solidifying her status as a rising talent in the industry. In 2014, Michelle Owen lived in the Maldives, where she held a three-month residency at the W Hotel. This connection with nature led her to expand her repertoire to include warm and laid-back vibes across various genres like chill, electronic, funk n' soul, and nu-disco. Michelle's passion for music extends beyond DJing and production. She launched her online platform called Almost Real, an online photography and visual art gallery for global creatives. In 2026, Michelle moved back to Australia after living in Bali for 6 years, continuing her musical pursuits and exploring new horizons in the world of art and creativity.
