Qu3 grew up during St. Louis’ blossoming music scene during the early 2000’s and his uncle would ride around playing songs like Nelly’s “The Gank”, a song that resonated with Qu3 and taught him early on that lyrics contained emotion and feeling. This slight interaction would become the foundation for Qu3’s love for music as he realized that not only did writing create feelings but it also was a a place he found solace. In 2018 he released his debut EP “Poetry Is the Possibility of Language”. A six track medley of R&B, spoken word and Hip Hop infusion, Qu3’s first project established him as a voice worth watching on the local music scene as he fine tuned his sound. In 2019, the rising artist released a string of powerful visuals including “Loved Ones” and “Over You”. His efforts landed him a St. Louis Underground Music Award nomination for Best Spoken Word Artist. On Valentine’s Day 2020, Qu3 released his second project “Vintage”, the epitome of tangible sound, transcending jazz, poetry and rhyme. An assertive sound, smooth in rhythm and vibrant in flavor, Qu3 is the poetic voice the industry has been missing. His powerful words, driven by a thorough passion and emotional vulnerability, makes him stand out as he tells stories and paints pictures only ears can see.
