Kokeshi / Kool FM / Armory / Offshore / Defrostatica Alley Cat is about to her debut album 'The Widow Project' out 7 November 2024 which is a culmination of all her influences from the last 3 decades as a DJ and a music fan. Pulling influences from early dubstep and the Autonomic era as well as her youth years as a raver in the 90s and a fan of bands like Depeche Mode and Cocteau Twins, the listener can feel influences like her Offshore label mate Vaccine (RIP), Photek and Massive Attack She is defining her signature sound. In the drum'n'bass sphere this sound can also be seen at faster BPM's on her recent remix of Uneven's 'Density' on Defrostatica. Expect more music in the next 6 months. Alley Cat keeps busy with her London-based radio show on Kool FM as well as DJ gigs. Alley's back catalogue includes releases on Armory, Offshore, Reinforced, Skunkrock, Kokeshi as well as remixes on Absolute Loss and Defrostatica.
