Melissa Leite Dos Santos, known by her dynamic stage name CERES, was born in Rio de Janeiro in February 2002. Her stage name, inspired by the Roman goddess of agriculture and a distant planet, mirrors her ability to cultivate fresh sounds and reach new heights in the music universe. From a young age, she nurtured a deep passion for music, which has since blossomed into a thriving career. Today, CERES is a multi-talented force, excelling as a singer-songwriter, producer, and DJ, captivating audiences worldwide. Her boundless talent has led to high-profile collaborations with both Brazilian and international artists, allowing her to sign tracks with renowned labels such as B1 Records, Sony Music, Ministry Of Sound, Universal Music, Warner Music, Spinnin' Records, Insomniac Records, Smash The House, Armada Music, Future House Music, Tomorrowland Music and other independent projects. 2024 marked another stellar chapter in CERES's career, where she collaborated with top-tier artists like Alok, Gabry Ponte, Öwnboss, Blasterjaxx, Creeds, Tribbs, Dezko, Yellow Claw, Maddix, Old Jim, Zapravka, HVME, KVSH, Novah and so many more. Her groundbreaking collaboration with Alok on the track "Let's Get Fkd Up" became a monumental success, earning 5X platinum certifications (Austria, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland and Ireland) and 4X gold certifications (Germany, Belgium, Finland and Italy). These accomplishments solidify CERES as a dominant figure in the EDM scene, gaining significant support from industry giants like R3hab, Armin Van Buuren, John Summit, Timmy Trumpet, Nicky Romero, Laidback Luke, Showtek, Mike Williams, Merk & Kremont, Lily Palmer, and more. CERES, alongside KVSH, one of Brazil’s most renowned DJs, has co-founded a record label dedicated to cultivating talent and shaping the future of electronic music. Under the banners, Lemon Drops and Lemon Luna, distributed by ADA (Warner Music Group), the label acts as a launchpad for emerging artists. In June 2023, CERES achieved 8.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify, surpassing today 400 million streams across all platforms. This crowned her as the #3 DJ with the most monthly listeners in Brazil, according to CLIMAX charts, further cementing her status as a rising star.
