Over Deran K.
Deran K. is a DJ and producer born in 2005 in Northern Cyprus. His musical journey began with guitar lessons in 2012 and was shaped by growing up in a musical family, inspired by his father DJ Bora K. From a young age, Deran developed a strong interest in DJing and electronic music, later sharing the stage with respected artists such as D.O.D, DubVision, Sick Individuals, KAAZE, RetroVision, and Deniz Koyu. In 2023, he made his official debut as a producer with “BABY,” a collaboration with his father. Later that year, he moved to Australia to study Sound Engineering and Music Production at SAE University, expanding his technical knowledge and creative direction. Deran gained international attention with releases on major labels including Hexagon Records (Don Diablo) with “Feel The Beat” and Smash The House (Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike) with “Dynamite.” Blending Bass House, Tech House, Melodic Techno, and Techno, he delivers an energetic and modern sound aimed at both clubs and festivals. He also hosts the weekly “House on the Rocks Series,” published on 1001Tracklists and SoundCloud, where he showcases his evolving taste in electronic music. With more than 500,000+ global streams and support from artists like Yves V, Firebeatz, Chester Young, Don Diablo, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, and Angemi, Deran K. continues to grow as one of the promising young names in the scene.
