Emerging from Los Angeles in 2007, LA RIOTS became part of the late-2000s bloghouse and electro movement. Early momentum came through high-profile remixes, including an official remix of Justice’s “DVNO” (Ed Banger Records), alongside remixes for Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Hot Chip, Crystal Castles, Kylie Minogue, Kings of Leon, M.I.A., Tiësto, Kelis, and 30 Seconds to Mars—positioning the project between underground credibility and mainstream crossover. LA RIOTS later held a three-year residency at XS Nightclub in Las Vegas—one of the world’s most influential nightlife venues—performing regularly within the city’s premier club circuit. Touring highlights include the inaugural Identity Festival Tour (USA) alongside Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Pretty Lights, Nero, Booka Shade, and Modeselektor, as well as Australia’s first Global Gathering Tour featuring Kraftwerk, Sasha, Above & Beyond, Mark Ronson, and Felix Da Housecat. Festival appearances include ULTRA Music Festival (4x), Electric Daisy Carnival (4x), Coachella, Lollapalooza (Chicago), Electric Zoo (New York City), I Love Techno (Belgium), and Pukkelpop. Beyond touring, LA RIOTS has collaborated with global brands across music, technology, and culture, including Bud Light, Mountain Dew, PlayStation, Sonos, Sol Republic, Sony, and Pioneer. Now focused on groove-driven house music, LA RIOTS releases on labels including Toolroom, Musical Freedom, Realm, Circus Recordings, Armada Deep, Bambossa, Roush, Spinnin’, and Confession.
