Ilan Shemi is the name behind Symbolic. The project was established by him and by DJ Osho in mid 2011 and the direction has been clear ever since – pure psychedelic progressive trance all the way. Rarely do artists manage to gain acknowledgement and success as quickly Symbolic. Following release of his first track 'Crystal Clear' on a compilation by Ace Ventura released on Iboga Records things really took off - Symbolic quickly became an established name and sought-after act for festivals and events worldwide.The Symbolic sound, built on heavy fat basslines, crunchy grooves and enticing melodies, continued to develop with momentum and some massive collaborations emerged.Several other successful collaborations emerged with some of the scenes top producers, like Liquid Soul, Sphera and many more.
