Cultivated Electronics is the London electro label headed by Sync 24 (Phil Bolland), running since 2007 on a simple brief: high-quality electro-influenced dance music with a dark and twisted edge. Across nearly two decades it has become one of the genre's reference imprints — Resident Advisor reviews of Assembler Code, Animistic Beliefs, Silicon Scally, The Exaltics, 214 and Maelstrom sit alongside the label's own For The Floor split-12" series and the From The Dark compilations. Vinyl-first, cold and machine-led, and consistently the record a DJ reaches for when the set needs to turn sinister.
