About Alex Wilcox

Alex Wilcox is an American Music Producer and Live Performer based in Berlin. For over 20 years who honed his craft as a musi- cian before the world took noticed. Near 2022 he emerged from the shadows and quickly released EP’s on the labels of Nina Kraviz, Ellen Allien, Boys Noize, Modeselektor, Bjarki, and Anetha. The likes of Richie Hawtin, SPFDJ, Bjarki, Patrick Mason, Anetha, Salome, AADJA, u.r. Trax, and many more to list have played his tracks to crowds all over the world. His influences are dramatic, ranging from working at Underground Resistance HQ in Detroit with Mike Banks, setting up microphones for Tyler, the Creator in Hollywood, to assisting Platinum-selling pop pro- ducer Pinkslip in Los Angeles. In the past 2 years Alex has played in 30+ countries and taken the electronic music world by storm as he combines his laboriously honed production with his energetic, quirky, and intense punk rock stage pre- sence. He runs around the DJ booth, climbs up trees, hangs upside down, screams into the audience and generally causes chaos via his genre-less chaotic whirlwind involving hard cuts, numerous BPM changes, existential theatrical moments, and a punk rock mentality. That is until... 2025, when Alex got hit by a bus, shattering his mental faculties and sapping confidence in the phys- ical body. To stave off suicidal urges, Alex gained an obsession with AI-human integration - his reclusive behaviour led to his paranoia about being in public without his safety suit. Gushing through tissue and PCB is his album “Identity Crisis.” A Punk-Techno- IDM-Electronica album screaming on Ellen Allien’s “Bpitch Control.”
