n808 (pronounced nate oh eight) is a DJ and producer based in San Francisco. He got into music at a young age playing violin with his dad’s mariachi band. Now he makes all sorts of house and techno music, with a distinct sound. He has released tracks on Dirtybird, Relief, Aliens On Mushrooms, EMPIRE, Trippy Ass Techno, Desert Hearts, House of Hustle, and My Techno Weighs A Ton. The only constant in his production style is a rotund low end and usually some absolutely out of left field vocals. His records have seen support from acts like Claude VonStroke, Green Velvet, Gettoblaster , DJ Hell , John Summit , Mau P , Pig&Dan, Devochka, and many other festival mainstays. Last year he hit a string of shows with the Dirtybird Players Tour and Green Velvet’s La La Land, and this year he embarked on a nation-wide headlining tour with Mike Kerrigan, playing packed out shows in Denver, New York, Washington DC, Los Angeles, Florida, and even a stop down in Tulum.
