Emerging from the vibrant electronic music scene of Tel Aviv, Y do I has quickly established itself as a visionary force in melodic techno. Originally a duo with Amos Chalfon and David Semo, the project now moves forward as a solo vision led by Amos, marking a defining moment of creative focus and evolution. Highlights included their debut at Hï Ibiza, opening The Theatre for Tale of Us’ Afterlife residency, and a landmark collaboration EP with Kevin de Vries on Afterlife, praised for its tension-building arrangements and emotional depth. Their music has consistently combined melodic sophistication with immersive, club-ready energy, earning the attention of tastemakers and fans across the globe. The first release of this new solo era, ‘Eyes’ (out March 13 on Captive Soul), exemplifies this evolution. Anchored by a recurring vocal phrase — “eyes on me” — the track reflects themes of presence, awareness, and creative focus.
