A true veteran of the global electronic scene, his decades of innovation were recently honored with the prestigious SKAP Award, cementing his legacy as a pioneer of Swedish dance music. Born in Chile and raised in Sweden, and later adopted by New York, Alexi was a central figure in the "Swedish Wave" of the mid-90s alongside peers like Adam Beyer, Cari Lekebusch, Jesper Dahlbäck, and Joel Mull. His signature sound—a production and DJ style that sways between house and techno—fuses heavy Scandinavian compression with the creative vibrancy of the New York underground, leading to releases on iconic labels including Drumcode, Plus 8, Minus, SVEK, and Visionquest. Throughout his career, Alexi has been nominated for the Swedish Music Award “P3 Guld”, produced six albums, and released a countless amount of records. Currently, he is focused on his AD Limited imprint, his acclaimed "The Art Of Collaboration" series, and is deep in the studio working on his next solo album, consistently re-inventing himself with every new project.
