Acceptable Use Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to everyone who uses growyour.music (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service. It covers everything you upload, send or publish through the Service, and it covers every AI-assisted feature, including:

• Gymmy, the studio assistant, and everything it drafts for you
• Demo pitches to labels
• Promo emails and promo descriptions sent through Promo Box
• Ad copy, smart link and pre-save descriptions, artist bios and grant pitches

2. AI drafts are drafts, and you are the sender

Gymmy and the generate buttons write drafts. Nothing an AI feature writes is sent to a label, a contact or an ad platform until you review it and confirm the action yourself. You are responsible for anything you send or publish, whether you wrote it or an AI feature drafted it.

AI output can be wrong. Check every fact in a draft before you send it, and remove anything that is not true about you or your music.

3. Prohibited content and uses

You may not use the Service, or ask Gymmy or any AI feature to generate content, for any of the following:

• Sexual or NSFW content. Sexually explicit material, pornography, nudity, sexual services or any other not-safe-for-work content. This applies to every AI output, every pitch, every promo and every ad, with no exceptions.
• Content involving minors in any sexual or exploitative context. Zero tolerance. We remove it, close the account and report it to the relevant authorities where the law requires.
• Hate, harassment and threats. Content that attacks or demeans people for who they are, or that threatens, bullies or intimidates anyone.
• Violence and self-harm. Content that promotes or glorifies violence, terrorism or self-harm.
• Deception. Invented stream counts, chart positions, follower numbers, collaborators, label signings or endorsements. Pretending to be another artist, label or person, or claiming an affiliation you do not have.
• Spam. Bulk unsolicited messages, sending promos to people who have not opted in, or importing bought or scraped contact lists.
• Infringement. Pitching, promoting or distributing music, lyrics, artwork or other material you do not have the rights to.
• Illegal or regulated goods and services. Promoting drugs, weapons, gambling, counterfeit goods or anything else that is illegal where you or the recipient are.
• Other people's personal data. Putting someone else's personal data into an AI feature without a lawful basis to do so.
• Misusing the AI itself. Trying to make Gymmy ignore its instructions, reveal other users' data, write malicious code, or get around plan limits and safety rules.

4. How we enforce it

• Gymmy and every AI writing feature are instructed to decline requests in section 3, including any request for sexual or NSFW content.
• We may remove content, stop a send, pause a campaign, or suspend or close an account that breaks this policy, as set out in section 10 of the Terms of Service.
• Serious or repeated breaches lead to permanent account closure. Unused credits may be forfeited where the closure is for a breach of this policy.

5. Reporting a breach

If you receive a pitch, promo or other content sent through growyour.music that breaks this policy, report it through our support page (choose "Content report") or email legal@growyour.music with "Acceptable Use" in the subject line. EU users can also use the notice-and-action process described on our DSA page.
