Jonay Amador began buying his first vinyl in 1991 and it was in 1992 when he made his debut at the Ku nightclub matinée at the age of 12, thanks to his father's contacts and also thanks to DJ Kruger, who opened the booth door for him. so he could play his first records. In November 1993, his older brother took Jonay to DJ for the first time at a party. That day he was paid 4,000 pesetas at the Pub Ensalada km 2.5 La Esperanza, later known as K-2 with DJ Coco when he was only 13 years old. It is Coco who automatically signs Jonay, who becomes part of the main team of the new radio project Universal Grooves 105.0 fm by DJ Coco, Tap & Tan and Day-B, with the permission of his parents. Every day after school Jonay spent the afternoons on the radio with his classmates, without knowing that he was writing his story in the electronic music of the Canary Islands.
