About Evren Furtuna

Born in Turkey and trained in classical music, Evren Furtuna brings a refined musical depth to the world of deep and organic house. His background in oboe and classical music at the Ankara State Conservatory continues to shape the emotional and cinematic character of his productions. His sound has reached international audiences and has been supported and played by respected artists such as John Digweed, Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren and Deep Dish, appearing in their sets and performances. In 2016, his album “A Part of The Cosmos” marked one of his notable early international works. The track “Private Party” gained particular recognition, especially through its presence in multiple DJ sets at Burning Man. His Anjunadeep release “Cupid” was featured as the opening track of Tony McGuinness and Marsh’s set at Anjunadeep Open Air: London at The Drumsheds. His “All Shades Of Blue” EP reached #1 on Beatport, marking a defining moment in his career within the organic house scene. With releases on respected labels such as Anjunadeep, Black Hole Recordings, and Café del Mar Music, Evren Furtuna continues to evolve his musical identity while expanding his creative vision through his label, Unusual Radio Music.
