Since catapulting to the forefront of house music with 2019’s political call-to-arms “I’m Not Defeated,” NYC singer-songwriter Fiorious has been hailed by Mixmag as “a specialist in stirring emotions” and by Attitude as a “boundary-pushing new queer voice.” His Defected trilogy with Madrid-based producer Bawrut garnered remix love from Honey Dijon, Cassius, Roger Sanchez, and Marshall Jefferson, alongside support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Calvin Harris, and Mark Ronson. Collaborations with Dimitri from Paris, Purple Disco Machine, Horse Meat Disco, Joe Goddard, Henrik Schwarz, Midland, and more have positioned Fiorious at the intersection of soulful house and indie dance. Released in April 2026 on Permanent Vacation, his album My Weakness showcased a confessional, emotionally dynamic approach to club music — bridging vulnerability and groove. Now, with the arrival of CHSN FMLY, Fiorious returns to his queer NYC roots, pivoting toward chord-driven, community-centered songwriting.
