About Leila
Leila Arab — known simply as Leila — is an Iranian-born producer, multi-instrumentalist and DJ based in London. After early releases on Aphex Twin's Rephlex label (Like Weather, 1998; Courtesy of Choice, 2000), she became one of Warp Records' most singular voices, releasing the acclaimed Blood, Looms & Blooms (2008) and U&I (2012) — richly textured, song-driven electronic music moving between IDM, trip-hop, soul and ambient. She has also toured and recorded as a member of Björk's live band.
