About Maori

Maori is the electronic music project of Maor Anav, an accomplished producer, DJ, and the founder and owner of the rising record label Top Board. Driven by a vision to shape and curate within the wider electronic scene, Maor originally began his musical journey at just eight years old when he learned to play the guitar. In 2016, he channeled this deep-rooted passion into electronic music, drawing intense inspiration from his surroundings and industry mentors. Rooted in the rich storytelling and psychedelic depths of Trance production, Maori has masterfully evolved his sound. Today, his signature style seamlessly bridges the worlds of Indie Dance, House, and Tech House. Known for driving tribal percussion, fat, melodic basslines, infectious grooves, and deep atmospheric melodies, Maori’s distinct sonic identity keeps dancefloors moving globally. With a relentless drive and a wealth of boundary-pushing music on the horizon, Maori continues to solidify his position as a prominent, forward-thinking force in the global industry.
