About NCT
Keystones of the Dutch drum & bass scene, NCT, formed by Jeroen Nai Chung Tong & Alex Witschge, have been enriching the world of drum & bass music with enrapturing music and enthralling DJ sets for over a decade. With countless sets, one huge debut album, and tens of millions of streams spread across Liquicity, NCS (NoCopyrightSounds), Elevate, Hospital and Viper, the sky truly is the limit for NCT. Having both grown up on the Western side of The Netherlands, both Jeroen & Alex were surrounded by the burgeoning and renowned dance music scene. With Jeroen growing up listening to mostly classic pop music, jazz, hiphop and playing around with various instruments and Alex being introduced to the early works of LTJ Bukem and Underworld to name a few, it soon became clear electronic music was the way for both. Jeroen starting as a producer, Alex as a DJ; their powers combined shaped what NCT is nowadays. Consistently vocal-driven and high-energy, NCT's productions often touch on themes of love and togetherness, a sentiment which perfectly represents the ethos of their sound. Harbouring a burning passion and desire to make and play music every day, NCT now holds the goal of reaching and impacting the lives of millions of listeners across the globe on a daily basis. On stage, there is joy, energy, a dynamic rarely seen. Looking like two blokes just having fun, they surprise each other and the various crowds set by set with their track selection and mixes. From Liquicity Festival and Tomorrowland, to New Zeeland and China; everywhere they go, their mission to make people dance and smile succeeds. Their 2020 debut album 'Astrophysical' and the 2022 remix album set them well on their way, with the deeply personal project amassing millions of listens whilst cementing their position within the global drum and bass scene. More recently, NCT's releases on Liquicity and NCS, which includes their highly successful collaborations with fellow Dutch act T & Sugah on the sounds of 'Find a Way' and the remix of Maduk's 'Company', have set them up for a huge 2023 and beyond.
