Sandy Rivera is an American house music DJ, record producer, and label owner born in Spanish Harlem, New York City, now based in New Jersey. He started DJing at age 13 and began producing house music in 1992, quickly establishing himself as one of the most respected figures in soulful and deep house. Best known under his alias Kings of Tomorrow, Sandy Rivera produced the iconic track "Finally" (2000) featuring Julie McKnight — a crossover smash that reached #24 on the UK Singles Chart and #17 on the Billboard dance chart, appearing on compilations from Defected Records, Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, and Warner Music. The track remains one of the most recognized house records of all time. Rivera has worked under multiple aliases including Kings of Tomorrow, Soul Vision, and Mysterious People, collaborating with partners Jose Burgos, HAZE, and Jay "Sinister" Sealee. He founded BlackWiz Records in 1993 and deepvisionz (Deep Vision Records) in 1995, building a catalog that spans three decades of soulful, vocal, and deep house music. His production credits include remixes and collaborations with Craig David, Moby, Fedde Le Grand, Everything But The Girl, and Defected Records' 25th anniversary release "Changes" with Cristoph and Hayze. With over 560 tracks on Traxsource alone, Sandy Rivera remains a pillar of the American house music scene and continues to release music on his deepvisionz imprint.
