The Brunettes play an original version of late 1970's NYC style Punk/New Wave music. Back before Punk was narrowly defined by screaming vocals and disillusionment with society's norms, and before New Wave was dominated by synthesizers and disco backbeats, there was a collision of hard rock and power pop that sparked a musical revolution and inspired countless bands since. With their savvy smart lyrics, relentless bass lines, flashy guitars and solid rock drums, this music will instantly bring the listener back to CBGB era rock and roll.
