Biography

eSQUIRE is the moniker of Liverpudlian Lee Squires, audio engineer turned record producer/remixer whose love for dance music blossomed out of the euphoria of the late ‘90s. Quite evidently, he is well versed in the cultural progression of dance music; some of the biggest names in the business have had such a large impact on his formation that some of his greatest work has been a revitalisation of their best records. He has a refined sound, consisting of uplifting house music, laden with big room energy, striking vocals and huge piano lines - a timelessly popular and relevant approach to electronic dance music, lapped up by the masses across the globe as they search for a little slice of paradise to get lost in over and over again. eSquire’s original work has seen him sign to some of the most reputable imprints in clubland like Ministry of Sound, Revealed Recordings, Tiger Records, Big Beat, RCA, PornoStar, Enormous Tunes and more, with the likes of Eric Prydz and Axwell being not just key influences, but consistent supporters among many others. He’s an in demand remixer reworking Au/Ra & Camelphat’s ‘Panic Room’, Martin Solveig’s ‘My Love’, Galantis’ ‘Tell Me You Love Me’ and Rudimental & Rita Ora’s ‘Summer Love’, each finding their way on to some of the most revered playlists in the streaming world, gaining him exponential attention. These are joined by other acclaimed remixes for Galantis & OneRepublic, Sigala & Becky Hill, Anton Powers, Croatia Squad, DJ Foggy, JustUs, Stonebridge and more. As well as remixing some of the game’s major players, eSquire has seen the support of his music from the likes of Afrojack, Bingo Players, Dannic, EDX, Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell, Idris Elba, Jonas Blue, Kryder, Lost Frequencies, Nicky Romero, Nora En Pure, Sam Feldt, Tiesto and many more. Understandably, with releases and support at such a high level, it’s safe to say that eSquire’s exposure now far overstretches his humble Liverpool and runs far beyond the confines of the United Kingdom. His busy DJ schedule has lead him to headline shows in Bahrain, Brazil, Croatia (Bol, Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb), Dubai, Estonia, Ibiza (Eden & Ocean Beach), the Middle East (Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha & Dubai) and Asia (Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bali, Shanghai, Hong Kong). With a firm eye fixed on the very top, eSquire is well on his way to becoming one of the most accomplished producers of his time. It’s only a matter of time until he becomes commonplace in amongst his idols.
