About Bass Agenda Recordings
Bass Agenda Recordings grew out of Andy Barton's Bass Agenda radio show, which has been broadcasting underground electro and techno since 2012 and now airs monthly on Ireland's RTÉ 2FM. The label launched in 2013 with the double compilation The Fight Against the Mundane and has since passed 130 releases across vinyl, CD, digital and USB, distributed by Triple Vision. Dave Clarke has backed it from the first record — "a damn consistent label, solid quality, no hipster posturing, a music first outfit" — and the catalogue runs from Detroit originators (Anthony Rother, Detroit's Filthiest, Orlando Voorn) to a deep bench of contemporary electro: Dez Williams, Carl Finlow, Umwelt, Plant43, Scape One and The Subdermic.
