Biography
Kevin MacInnis, aka. Lessov, is a Canadian music producer from Ottawa, Ontario. He began producing atmospheric/progressive house music at the age of 17. His goal is to create music that immerses the listener by drawing them into a state of awe and contemplation. This is done by creating audio imagery primarily involving water, deep oceans, and space exploration, all with a sense of melancholy and mystery within each sound. The oceans found on Earth, especially the deepest parts of them, evoke a profound sense of longing and mystery. Jungian psychology suggest that the ocean is a symbol for the unconscious and Lessov's primary goal is to portray the unexplored conscious mind through sound.
