About Whigfield
Whigfield is an Italian dance music project fronted by Danish singer, songwriter, and record producer Sannie Charlotte Carlson (born April 11, 1970), who has also performed under the stage names Sannie and Naan. The act is primarily known for the 1993 single "Saturday Night," which gained international popularity in 1994. While based in Italy, Carlson worked with Italian producer Larry Pignagnoli.
