Biography

Raised on New York dancefloors and now based in San Diego, Jon Billick is a DJ and producer channeling classic U.S. House, Deep House, and Garage with a contemporary finish. He cut his teeth over a three-year residency at West Village institution Le Souk, sharing the booth with the likes of Todd Terry and DJ Dove and learning the craft night after night in front of a real crowd. That grounding has since carried his sets across the U.S. and Europe — from Amsterdam Dance Event to Berlin institutions Sisyphos, from Brooklyn’s Elsewhere to Washington DC’s Flash. He has opened and closed for Doc Martin, Mateo & Matos, and Cinthie, and his open-air Sound By The Sea set has passed 17,000 views on YouTube. In the studio, Jon’s records land on respected house imprints including theBasement Discos, ESUOH, House Cookin’, and Glbdom. His productions have drawn support and DJ-chart plays from Kerri Chandler, Riva Starr, and Sam Divine, and he earned a spot on Beatport’s Top 2024: Deep House. The throughline is the same one that started at Le Souk — soulful, groovy house built for the floor, with the raw, driving edge of the classics that raised him.
