Thomas Foster, born on April 20, 1969 in Salzburg, Austria, is an Austrian music producer, composer, YouTuber, and author. Together with his partner Peter Kent, he co-founded the production company Foster Kent, responsible for creating the opener music for the TV show "RTL Aktuell" and the jingles for numerous radio stations worldwide. Discovering his passion for music at a young age, Thomas began playing the piano at the age of six. At seven, he formed his first band with his current partner Peter Kent. His musical journey led him to study composition at the Mozarteum in Salzburg at the age of 16. For the past thirty years, Foster Kent has been producing the sonic branding for over 100 TV and radio stations. Their clients include renowned broadcasters such as RTL, SWR3, WDR 2, Radio Hamburg, NDR 2, and Ö3. In addition to his work as a producer, Thomas Foster has collaborated with various artists as a musician. In the early 2000s, he produced remixes for "Satoshi Tomiie" and worked with DJ Christian Hornbostel on productions like "Into Your Mind" and "Back to the Music". Furthermore, Thomas Foster operates the successful YouTube channel and podcast "Thomas Foster Musikproduktion", where he publishes engaging and educational video tutorials that inspire numerous music enthusiasts and young talents to produce music themselves. His first book, "EDM komponieren", was published on Amazon in 2020 and quickly became a bestseller.
