About Jon Billick
Jon Billick is a New York City house producer and DJ whose sound is shaped by the city's dancefloors — from a three-year residency at West Village staple Le Souk to a behind-the-scenes education at the Ministry of Sound / Hed Kandi North American offices. He describes his music as "house music inspired by the classics of yesterday with a contemporary finish," blending soulful, groovy textures with raw, driving rhythms. His work has appeared on labels including theBasement Discos, ESUOH, GLB DOM, and Rhythm Vibe, with support from the likes of Kerri Chandler and Cinthie, and has taken him to dancefloors in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, and beyond.
