What Bass Labels Look For
What every strand here has in common is that the bass is the hook, not the accompaniment, so the thing being judged is whether your low end has a personality. In bass house that means a lead with rhythmic bite that works as a percussion part, a kick that punches through it cleanly, and a drop that arrives fast. In UK bass it means swing, syncopation and sound-system weight, with far more tolerance for odd tempos and unresolved arrangements. In future bass it means the opposite instinct: lush, detuned supersaws, pitched vocal chops and an emotional lift. What no strand tolerates is a muddy sub or a drop that lands without the arrangement having earned it.
Submission Tips
Name the strand in your pitch, because the hub tag will not do it for you. "Bass" tells an A&R nothing: "a 128 BPM bass house record in the Night Bass lane" or "a 140 UK bass roller" tells them whether to keep listening.
